MariaStrategy implementation is the process of putting a firm's strategic plans into practice and making the necessary changes in mission, environment, resources, capabilities, and internal operations. Implementation must support the firm's mission, bring homogeneity of direction, and fit the needs of both the internal and external stakeholders. The key term in the definition of strategy implementation is therefore "change." Can the firm make the changes necessary for moving the business into a better, more competitive position? Strategy implementation depends upon two factors: the inherent strength of the plan developed to position the firm and its ability to produce the changes required. In other words, the two pivotal questions are: (1) Do the decisions make sense in light of the available information; and (2) Can we change ourselves or affect our market as the plan requires?
